  • Jesus said: Do unto others as you want them to do unto you (Luke 6:31)
  • All Team Members must wear Sun-Screen everyday, with a minimum of 30-spf
  • No Gossiping, Slandering, Back-biting, causing divisions, etc. Please use WWJD Rule
  • Everyone must be present and on time to daily Team Meetings before Breakfast - After Dinner
  • If someone offends you, do not tell Leaders or Friends. First, go to Offender privately, to resolve
  • After attempting to privately resolve Offense to no avail, then you may share Offense with another
  • Everyday Team will leave Base for Work/Ministry. No staying behind, unless you are sick or injured
  • No Smoking anywhere, anytime, except for outside designated Area. No Alcohol/Drugs on/off-Base

  • Please do not invite Haitian Friends or Strangers into our Base Compound
  • Do Not Drink or Brush your teeth with tap or shower water. Use bottled water only
  • Never leave the Base Alone, without permission (3-person group with 1-male adult)
  • Never give Your Name, Address, Email, Phone Number to anyone without permission
  • Never give money, food, other Items away to anyone from the Base, without permission
  • You are responsible for making own beds each day and keeping your Room neat & clean
  • Men/Women may wear modest shorts, 1-piece bikinis and wear open-toe shoes On-Base

  • Do not touch open sores of Sick children/adults, unless on Medical Team
  • Never wander from Team-Group/Work Area when Off-Base, without permission
  • Never give money, food, other Items to anyone when off-Base, without permission
  • Never give out Name, Address, Email, Phone Numbers to anyone, without permission
  • Team must wear closed-toe shoes when Off-Base, due to the open raw-sewerage systems
  • Ladies must wear below-knee dress, with short-sleeves, no guinea tee/thin-straps/tube-tops
  • No buying, eating street or store foods-drinks without permission. No drinking/using Tap-Water

  • Please Wash your Hands before and after every Meal
  • No wearing of bathing suit/wet towels to Mess-Hall, during Dinner/Breakfast time
  • No using or entering the Kitchen or Cooking Areas at any time, without permission
  • When First Bell Rings, this means Breakfast/Dinner is almost ready - usually 10-minutes
  • When Second Bell Rings, this means Breakfast/Dinner is now being served, come and eat
  • Quiet Time begins at 10:00pm every night, but Mess Hall will be open for quiet activities only
  • Mess-Hall is also Team-Meeting Hall and Recreation Area that's Open from 6:00am-11:00pm

  • Do not leave wet towels in Poll Area or in any other areas
  • No running around Pool Areas. It becomes very slippery when wet
  • No swimming after 10:00pm when Base quiet-time begins, 7-days a week
  • No Diving from the buildings, Walls, Trees and no making/using Rope Swings
  • No eating or drinking in or near the Pool Areas. Use tables near Pool or Mess Hall
  • Do not use soaps/shampoos in Pool. Keep Pool free of debris, wet towels and garbage

       Laundry

  • Never go in Laundry Room or do Laundry without permission. Haitian Staff does Laundry
  • Laundry Drop-Off Days on Mon-Wed-Fri. Drop off clothes at Laundry Room before/at Breakfast
  • Clothes are hand-washed by Staff and costs $5.00 per load. Tips are accepted, but not required
  • Bring own Laundry Soaps, Bleaches and other supply to Haiti, to leave behind as gifts for Haitians
  • Laundry Soap gifts, must be wrapped in garbage bag, knotted and placed into Luggage, not carry-on
  • Do not request Laundry to be done on Tue-Thu-Sat-Sun. Laundry can only be done on days assigned
